Matcha-Maca Latte (GF, paleo, vegan)

This smoothie/latte hybrid is a wonderful alternative to coffee and is perfect for those days when you need lasting energy and focus thanks to the matcha and maca. It's also super delicious and easy to make.

Matcha is basically green tea on steroids. It's chock full of polyphenols, powerful antioxidants that help protect against cancer and cardiovascular disease, reduce blood pressure, slow the signs of aging, and much more. Like coffee, matcha contains caffeine - but most people remark on how matcha gives them a stable, very alert-but-calm caffeine buzz rather than the sometimes jittery and short-lived coffee buzz.

Maca is an amazing root from Peru that works as an adaptogen, meaning that it tailors its function, or "adapts," according to the current needs of your body. It provides energy, enhances stamina, endurance and libido, and balances hormones (both for men and women).

Both of these work together to create a delicious, healthy, energizing drink that will instantly make your morning better!
